BAD BRAINS Documentary In Post-Production; Teaser Available

A documentary on the legendary punk band BAD BRAINS is currently in post-production and is expected later in the year. Directed by Mandy Stein and Ben Logan, the film traces the history of the band from its formation in Washington, D.C. in 1979 to the present day. It includes interviews with all four founding members, as well as comments from Henry Rollins, MINOR THREAT/FUGAZI vocalist Ian MacKaye, ex-MINOR THREAT guitarist Lyle Preslar, ex-CRO-MAGS vocalist John Joseph and bassist Harley Flanagan, MURPHY'S LAW guitarist Jimmy Gestapo and BEASTIE BOYS' Adam Yauch, who produced the 2007 BAD BRAINS album "Build a Nation".

BAD BRAINS is crediting with influencing a number of late '80 and early '90s rock and metal bands, including LIVING COLOUR, FAITH NO MORE, 24-7 SPYZ and FISHBONE.
